Fifa 2014 World Cup Stadium
Beta Engineering Services aided Daver Steels to win their bid for tension bars to support the Brazilia football stadium for the 2014 World Cup. We supplied 3,500 M20 forks by providing an urgent turn around which was vital for their customer.
Our process involved turning and threading M20 "blanks" from carbon steel round bar on our Takisawa bar-fed lathe. To distribute the work load we milled the slots and drilled the cross holes on separate Hurco VMC's running 3 shifts production.
